About the Foundation
Founded in 2016, the Erosive Tooth Wear Foundation serves as a unique global forum bringing together academics, industry scientists, and marketing experts to raise awareness about the condition of erosive tooth wear. The ETW Foundation fosters collaboration across disciplines and holds regular international meetings, presenting its work at major scientific symposia around the world.
Our mission is to promote public health by advancing awareness, education, and research on erosive tooth wear—its causes, prevention, and treatment. We support and publish high-quality research, run educational programmes, and deliver expert-led training for both the public and healthcare professionals.
The Foundation is guided by a team of expert trustees and facilitators based at King’s College London, further supported by an international network of scientific advisors from leading institutions across Europe and North America.
Our work reaches children, families, and the wider public directly, as well as through partnerships with dental educators, health practitioners, students, researchers, and policymakers. This activity is made possible through the generous support of our Industry Advisory Panel members.
Together, we are advancing understanding and improving outcomes for a condition that affects people worldwide.
